Code of Conduct


JAUDT Dosiertechnik Maschinenfabrik GmbH values principles of corporate management that pay attention to ecological and social responsibility. The same is expected from our suppliers. Also we expect our employees to prove integrity on a high level with regard to the ecological, social and ethical guidelines of our company. We are constantly committed to optimise our entrepreneurial attitude in line with the principal of sustainability and request our suppliers to support us in this endeavour.

This Code of Conduct is based on the national laws and regulations and the international conventions such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations, the Guidelines on the Rights of the Child and Entrepreneurial Attitude, the guidelines on Business and Human Rights of the United Nations, the international Labour Standards of the International Labour Organization as well as the Global Compact of the United Nations. We request our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as with the requirements of those standards.


1. Social Responsibility

We require our suppliers to be aware of their social responsibility and to make sure that especially

  • all forms of forced labour must be banned.
  • no child labour shall be involved at any stage of the production and that the Recommendations of the ILO Minimum Age Convention for the employment of children must be observed at any time.
  • the workers´ wage must be compliant with all requirements of the applicable laws at any time.
  • the working hours must be compliant with applicable laws and standards of the branch.
  • the right of the working force must be observed at any time to freedom of associations, to join trade unions, to recourse to the workers representative council or to membership in the works council at any time, and that the applicable laws must be observed.
  • all forms of discrimination of workers in any form is considered to be illegal. This shall apply i.e. for discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, caste, skin colour, disability, political opinion, religion, age, pregnancy or sexual orientation. The personal dignity, privacy and personal rights of every individual must be observed.
  • all legal requirements must be observed in order to provide a safe and healthy working environment for the work force and that all measure must be taken to avoid that injuries of health and accidents related with the work and the working place may occur.
  • an effective complaints mechanism must be organised and maintained for individuals as well as for the workers community at the suppliers business.


2. Ecological Responsibility

Furthermore, we request our suppliers to show ecological responsibility and environmental awareness on a high level, especially with the handling of

  • the treatment and discharge of industrial waste water,
  • air emission,
  • waste and hazardous substances,
  • the consumption of raw materials and natural resources,
  • energy consumption and energy efficiency.


3. Ethical business conduct

Finally, we expect from our suppliers to show only such business practices that comply with the general ethical rules, especially

  • the compliance with legal obligations for fair competition,
  • the guarantee of confidentiality and data protection,
  • the respect for the intellectual property of third parties,
  • the highest level of integrity with all business activities,
  • a zero-tolerance policy with regard to any form of bribery, corruption, blackmail and fraud, and the compliance with anti-corruption laws at any time.


4. Effective Implementation

Also with regard to the supply chain, we expect our suppliers to comply with all aforementioned principles regarding the social and ecological responsibility as well as the ethical business conduct, by identifying risks and taking measures in order to exclude any breach within the supply chain.


5. Acknowledgment

We consider that we fully share with our suppliers the values that have been described in this Code of Conduct and that they will comply with the aforementioned principles and requirements at any time.

Hence we ask our suppliers to approve their consent by signing this Code of Conduct, or alternatively, to provide to us any Code of Conduct that is applicable at the supplier´s company.

This Code of Conduct was drawn in German and English. In the event of a conflict the German version shall prevail.
